Ghost Browser 2.4.1.1: More Power, Control and Privacy

We’ve just released Ghost Browser 2.4.1.1 — and it’s more than a maintenance update. This release brings major upgrades to both the browser and our built-in extensions, delivering new tools for control, customization, and speed across your daily workflows.

Whether you’re managing multiple identities, automating browser tasks, or a privacy focused user, this update gives you more of what makes Ghost Browser unique.

Open Bookmarks in Any Identity

You can now open any saved bookmark directly into a specific Identity. It’s a small detail with a big impact — no more opening a bookmark and manually dragging it into the right Identity. Now your browser just knows.

If you manage multiple clients, brands, or accounts, this is a simple upgrade that helps you stay focused and organized without constant tab shuffling.

Apollo.io Support in Multi-Extension

Our Multi-Extension feature just got even more powerful with new support for Apollo.io. If you’re in sales, recruitment, or outreach, you know how valuable this tool is.

Now you can run multiple Apollo sessions in parallel, each fully isolated in its own Identity — no more logging in and out or juggling browser profiles.

Identity-Based Cookie Control for Developers

This one’s big for devs and automation builders. With 2.4.1.1, we’ve extended the Chrome cookies API to support per-Identity operations. That means you can now read, write, and delete cookies for a specific Identity using the standard API — just add the identity parameter.

You can now build smarter automation tools, test environments, and session managers that are aware of Identity separation. No hacks. No workarounds. Just clean, reliable session control.

Want ideas for how to use this new API feature? We wrote about that here

Spoof Time Zone and Hardware Concurrency (in Ghost Proxy Control)

If you use Ghost Proxy Control, you’ll now benefit from better anonymity and geo-matching. You can spoof your system time zone to match your proxy and override your hardware concurrency to make browser fingerprinting less effective.

This makes Ghost Browser even more useful for web automation, ad verification, and competitive research — helping you blend in more effectively while staying fully in control.

Manifest V2 Extension Support, Improved

We’ve smoothed out the process of installing Manifest V2 extensions from the Chrome Web Store. No more warnings. No more friction.

Many powerful extensions are still Manifest V2. You shouldn’t be blocked from using them — and now, you’re not.

Aesthetic and Usability Tweaks

This release also includes numerous interface improvements, small bug fixes, and quality-of-life upgrades in both the browser and extensions. That includes:

  • Cleaner UI in both the Modular and Classic Sidebars
  • Fixes for drag-and-drop issues with Identity tabs
  • Improved menu placements and minor polish throughout

These are small things, but they add up to a browser that feels smoother and more intuitive every day.

Updated Extensions, Too

As part of this update, some of the functionality was released via updates to several of our native extensions, including:

  • Modular Sidebar & App Dock v2.0.14 – better drag-and-drop handling, visual polish, and new tab-close behavior
  • Classic Sidebar v2.0.0.9 – updated styling and bug fixes
  • Ghost Proxy Control v2.0.0.10 – now supports time zone spoofing

You don’t need to install anything manually — just make sure your browser is updated, and the latest versions will be installed automatically.
